Michael was fortunate to spend the first 10 years of his decorated legal career as a senior Crown Attorney in Toronto, where he successfully prosecuted hundreds of matters at all trial court levels. Now as the lead counsel for our criminal defence matters, Michael represents clients in complex cases, such as homicide, guns and gangs, large-scale fraud, and sexual assault. Michael also specializes in domestic assault, youth justice, and bail hearings.

As our family law practice often involves high conflict matters, Michael routinely draws from his wealth of courtroom and litigation experience, negotiation skills and compassion, to provide our family law clients with premium legal representation.

In either practice area, Michael’s clients are grateful to have a fierce and loyal advocate, who will not get pushed around by opposing counsel.

Michael received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013. Prior to entering law school, Michael honed his business skills as an accounting executive in the entertainment industry.
